Continuous Computing® Corporation, global provider of high availability platform solutions that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy converged communications, today announced that Chairman and Co-founder Ken Kalb was named Telecommunications Entrepreneur Of The Year at the Ernst & Young 2005 San Diego awards banquet. According to Ernst & Young, the Entrepreneur Of The Year program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. From nearly 100 nominations, a panel of 12 independent judges voted to recognize Mr. Kalb as a key technology business leader in San Diego.

“I am truly honored to receive this award as a testament to the progress that Continuous Computing has made since its inception in 1998, as well as the contributions the company consistently makes to the telecommunications industry,” said Mr. Kalb. “This recognition is evidence of the energy, creativity and thought leadership exhibited by our entire team, and I thank them for making the company what it is today.”

Under Mr. Kalb’s leadership, Continuous Computing has grown revenues to $45 million in calendar year 2004 and has expanded to approximately 230 employees worldwide.
