Fujitsu to Demonstrate Scalable, Reliable Triple-Play Solutions at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2005 in San Antonio

WHAT

Fujitsu will demonstrate scalable, reliable triple-play solutions and discuss significant product enhancements during the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Cable-Tec Expo 2005. Fully converged carrier-class optical transport solutions will be demonstrated in their booth covering the following topics:

  • The benefits of converged multiservice optical networks based on Fujitsu platforms that offer innovative services while delivering CAPEX and OPEX savings
  • The market-leading FLASHWAVE® 7500 Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) with significant, generation-skipping advancements including a Wavelength Selective Switch (WSS), which delivers the most advanced wavelength routing and topology migration capabilities available
  • Advanced Ethernet service delivery options that include Carrier Ethernet transport, high-density multiplexed Gigabit Ethernet over Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), and Ethernet over SONET (EoS) solutions
  • Broadcast video solutions for a converged core network using the highly scalable and flexible FLASHWAVE 7500 ROADM and modular FLASHWAVE 4500 Multi-Service Provisioning Platform (MSPP)
